Local knowledge

Sue Curtis reinforces the importance of real experience in making plans:
The Draft Local Plan 2042 Revised Reg 18 Consultation stated that the Main Access to the application land should be off Drove Road. This directive was pure conjecture given the lack of any local feedback on the road's suitability. With a large proportion of the Chilbolton community "comments" citing a multitude of issues with the road, you now have that feedback to hand. Having lived on Drove Road for over 30 years the points I have raised are actual experiences, I, and others encounter on a daily basis. They are relevant now, and as such should hold great weight in any considerations of this development. Assumptions, just to satisfy the bigger picture for the Local Planning Authority, without giving consideration to local knowledge and daily life experience, is at the very least undemocratic
