A dangerous 'benefit'
Georgia Adams calculates the potential run-off from the new path:
Footpath/Cycle Path: This is the most dangerous 'benefit'. The new hard surfaces will potentially channel an estimated 33 million litres of surface water run-off downhill. The path of least resistance will be this cycle route, creating a risk of flooding for lower properties on Cart Lane, and acting as a high-risk route for sewage discharge if the planned on-site pump station fails
