Dogs and litter

Jennifer Armitstead used to live in Buckinghamshire. She explains what happened when a new development was built:
Road conditions deteriorated due to excessive vehicle movements on narrow, and in part single track roadways, and making pedestrian travel dangerous, particularly as there is an inadequate bus service, as is the case in Chilbolton. Litter became a problem and there was a substantial increase in dog ownership which caused both a problem to the indigenous wildlife such as hares and hedgerow birds, but also for local farmers. These are issues that were not anticipated, but a direct result of the additional development.
