A steep road in Winter

The steepness of Drove Road is noticed particularly in icy weather - last winter (our 1st here) after heavy snowfall all through one afternoon, we had been out and were nearly home in the evening but found Coley Lane blocked near the bottom of Drove Road, 2 cars were stuck at the bottom of Drove Road, both trying and failing to make it up the hill in the snow, another had been abandoned just a bit further up - we ended up having to leave our car in the village overnight along with the other driver's cars and walk up the hill home instead. Station Road is even steeper so there's not any safe way to get out or home again after heavier snowfall or icy conditions with ordinary cars
