Bad roads to be made worse

What I have not seen mentioned so far is the state of the roads in the built up area of Chilbolton and the connections to the A30, A303 & A3057 which are visibly deteriorating and where repairs have been attempted they soon fail again. This process can only be aggravated by the increased traffic, particularly large numbers of HGVs during the construction phase on roads which were never designed to modern standards. Also the narrowness of these roads will mean that there will be many instances of vehicles encroaching on verges and our few footpaths while passing other vehicles and causing more damage
