News: Cllr Julian Hudson resigns

Chilbolton Parish Council has announced the resignation of Cllr Julian Hudson as Chair of CPC and as a Councillor.

He was elected at the Annual Parish meeting in May and chaired his first full meeting in June. He last chaired a Parish Council meeting in October.

At the CPC meeting earlier this week, Councillors expressed concern for his health, but also acknowledged that the issues currently facing the Village require strong leadership.

The Parish Council said “Chilbolton Parish Council are sorry to announce that Julian Hudson has resigned from the council with immediate effect. We thank Julian for his immense contribution over the years, particularly in regards of Highways and Community Development, and wish him all the best for the future.”
