News: Parish Council agrees its objection to the 75 home plan

Chilbolton Parish Council has agreed the final draft of its objection to James Painter’s outline planning application for 75 homes.

At a very brief meeting, due to the absence of the Responsible Financial Officer, Councillors discussed a second draft of the response. They approved changes that strengthened the Executive Planning Summary in the areas of traffic, road safety and flooding.

Councillors agreed that the final draft, which will be posted on CPC’s website, will be sent to Test Valley Borough Council planners electronically and as a printed copy.

Councillors will next meet on Monday 12 Jan 2026 at 6pm in the Village Hall. The agenda will cover the items deferred from yesterday’s meeting.
