Breaking TVBC grants James Painter deadline extension

Test Valley Borough Council planners have granted James Painter an extension on his planned 75-home development in Chilbolton. He wants more time to respond to comments made during the consultation period.

Nicola Revolta, of Cherish Chilbolton has learned from the TVBC Case Officer that the new deadline is 24 Apr 2026. Any amended or additional information will be posted on the TVBC planning page for the proposed development.

In a further query to the Case Officer, Nicola Revolta asked whether the extension applied to public comments as well. TVBC responded, saying “we would always consider representations that are received prior to any determination, but the publicity period is not formally extended.”
