News: What's happening at the Village meeting on Saturday?
The second of three meetings to discuss the outline planning application for 75 new homes will take place at Chilbolton Village Hall tomorrow, Saturday 29 Nov 2025 at 10am.
Cllr Martin Watson describes it as “a chance to flush out all the parishioners’ concerns, especially new ones, so that they can be included in the Parish response.”
There will be an update on progress so far. There will also be a walk-through of a template that the Parish Council has prepared, which will help residents in making comments to TVBC planners.
Help will be on hand to advise residents on how to present their thoughts most effectively in responding. There will also be a community workshop.
TVBC Councillor David Drew will there, ready to answer any questions about the process which TVBC planners, and council members, follow.
Cherish Chilbolton will have a desk, and will be able to discuss non-Parish Council actions to oppose James Painter’s 75-home development.
For residents who weren’t able to attend the last meeting, this is an ideal opportunity to meet fellow residents, catch up and make your views known.
chilbolton.news will be at the meeting, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
