Breaking Flyers encourage residents to attend CDC meeting

Once again, flyers have popped up around the village, this time encouraging residents to attend the next Community Development Committee meeting in the Village Hall on Wednesday 27 July at 7pm.

Describing the meeting as a “Proposed Village Expansion Meeting”, it asks what is happening to the plan to build 20 houses and the TVBC plans for 65 homes. It also questions what is being done about the supporting infrastructure.

The last flyer campaign also referred to a “Village Expansion Meeting” and alleged that “the Pre App was rushed through by the SWG with approval from only 3 councillors and without review by the SWG”.

The latest one questions the process being used to evaluate potential development sites around the village and how it can be made transparent. It also asks how “all the village can support the Parish Council through public vote or referendum”.
