News: Open Gardens rescued by Cherish Chilbolton
Chilbolton Open Gardens for 2026 has been put back on the agenda. A meeting between Cherish Chilbolton and Cllr David Hall, Chair of the Parish Council confirmed the new plan yesterday.
The date this year will be from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday 14 Jun 2026. As usual there will be a variety of gardens to view and tea and homemade cake available.
New ideas could include “Plants of Current Interest”, and a treasure trail for younger visitors.
Open Gardens has been a popular event in the Village, and Cherish Chilbolton hopes to build upon that success for this year’s event.
Would you be prepared to open your garden? A spokesperson for Cherish Chilbolton says “All gardens are welcome for inclusion in the event, however large or small. Your garden doesn’t need to be perfect, in fact a ‘work in progress’ is often of even more interest to visitors.”
