Three traffic monitoring devices have been installed in Chilbolton. The reason for them being there is, as yet, unclear.

Test Valley Borough Council has confirmed that the requisite number of requests to hold a by-election for the vacancies at Chilbolton Parish Council has been exceeded.

In an announcement this afternoon, Peter Collis, Secretary to the Community Development Committee, said that the meeting planned for tomorrow night in the Village Hall is cancelled.

Chilbolton Parish Council’s Extraordinary Meeting last night boasted a 14-item agenda. They didn’t even make it to item 3 before the meeting was abruptly adjourned.

After Cllr Emma Noble’s resignation on Monday, today it has emerged that Cllr George Marits has also resigned. Notices have appeared around the Village today inviting applicants for the two posts.
