The last two open meetings the Parish Council held were widely praised for their openness and free-flowing nature. Last night, surprisingly, a return to a presentation-style format with a solid agenda proved even more successful and productive.

After some shaky moments in previous meetings, Chilbolton Parish Councillors last night had set aside their differences and found themselves in a new and carefully choreographed agreement.

The build-up to the Parish Council meeting on Monday 7 Apr 2025 at 6:30pm couldn’t have been more dramatic. That Saturday morning back in February where the Village was told that the planning pre-application had been paused. The tense exchanges at the last CPC meeting.
