News: Alfred Homes meeting: new documents

Prior to the drop-in meeting about construction at Test Valley Farm (at the Village Hall tomorrow afternoon from 5pm to 6pm), Alfred Homes have provided answers to questions and concerns already posed by residents, and a highway condition report.

Answers to residents’ questions

The answers to questions and concerns cover:

• Road and construction traffic management
• Passing places on Little Drove Road
• Footpath 15 and fencing
• The development site
• Biodiversity mitigation
• Regular Residents’ Group Meetings

Highway condition report

Alfred Home also commissioned a survey made on 7 Apr 2026 of the state of roads near the development site, and the route specified for construction traffic.

They took photographs and made an assessment of the condition of roads and driveways on:

• Little Drove Road
• The upper part of Station Road
• Drove Road from Little Drove Road to Coley Lane

Drop-in meeting

Alfred Homes’ staff attending tomorrow’s meeting will be

• Mark Lloyd, Construction Director
• Matt Brook, Technical Manager
• Joe Chamberlain, Site Manager

They want to “give residents the opportunity to have more individual conversations with us and allow us to properly discuss and answer any specific queries they have.”

The meeting will open at 5pm. The Alfred Homes team hope to close the meeting by 6pm, so ask that residents arrive by 5:45pm.
