Diary: CPC to discuss housing consultation

Chilbolton Parish Council will on Monday receive a presentation on the consultation they held in September, which saw a turnout of almost 60 percent.

Electors were asked to rank four options for housing development in the Village.

The housing options were:

• Option 1: Drove Road - 75 homes (Developer-led)
• Option 2: Drove Road - approx. 20 homes (Community-led)
• Option 3: Gravel Hill - approx. 20 homes (Community-led)
• Option 4: No Community-led Development at all

The Parish Council meeting will be held at 6pm on 2 Nov 2026 in the Village Hall. Early in the agenda for the meeting will be a presentation on the housing consultation.

Councillors will get the opportunity to discuss the implications for the Village and their approach to future development.

The meeting is open to the public and as usual there will be the opportunity to ask questions and make comments.
